The Bear Cubs wrestling team finished eighth out of 12 teams on Saturday Oct. 12 in the Modesto Invitational Tournament.
Team Captain Aaron Pen-Kruger, 141 pounds, went undefeated and finished first. He leads the team with an 11-5 record and eight pin falls to date this season. Robert Smith, 125 pounds, finished sixth in his class. Isai Guzman, 174 pounds, finished sixth in his weight class.
Their next meet is the NorCal Duals at home for the first time this year on Saturday Oct. 19 at 10 a.m.
