Santa Rosa Junior College’s Our House highlights “power in numbers” this year at the annual We The People conference.

Santa Rosa Junior College’s Our House hosts its annual We The Future virtual conference 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 16 on Zoom.

This year’s keynote speaker is Boots Riley, acclaimed musician and director of the 2018 dark comedy “Sorry to Bother You.”

We The Future aims to promote solidarity among those between class and color lines with this year’s theme “Power in Numbers,” and seeks to examine forms of community, diversity and coalition building, as well as the tensions between collectivist and individualist worldviews.

The conference is funded by a grant from the SRJC Foundation Randolph Newman Cultural Enrichment Endowment, and attendance is free.

If you have any questions regarding the event, email Our House Coordinator Dr. Amanda Morrison at [email protected], or call at (707)-788-2427.
