SRJC student Kay Trieseberg is hosting a donation drive collection on Friday, Dec. 5, and a distribution on Friday, Dec. 12.

Santa Rosa Junior College student Kay Trieseberg is hosting a donation drive drop-off for those without homes in Sonoma County from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5 at 3275 Dutton Ave.

She will then distribute the items that are donated in an event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 12 at Santa Rosa Old Courthouse Square.

Trieseberg is asking for winter essentials, such as blankets, tents and sleeping bags for community members. This is an essential time for community support, as the winter months are particularly difficult for those without homes.

To help out you can donate items, money or volunteer time, or you can share this article and flyer with family, friends and community members.

To volunteer, contact Trieseberg through email or Instagram; if you can’t make it Friday, you can also contact Trieseberg to arrange a different day to drop off donations.

Money can also be donated to kay-trieseberg on Venmo.

Winter is the hardest time of year for people without homes, so blankets and sleeping bags make for effective donations.
