Marilyn is a third year student at SRJC with hopes of transferring to study broadcast communication. Marilyn has been at The Oak Leaf for a year now as a sports writer and one day aspires to be a sports journalist. Marilyn plans to get an associate’s in journalism and communication studies at the JC before transferring. When she isn’t in school, Marilyn resides in Marin County and enjoys spending time with her dog, Woody.
Luke Morrow, News Editor
Luke Morrow is a sixth-year Santa Rosa Junior College student majoring in broadcast journalism. Now in his second semester at The Oak Leaf, Luke is the news editor. He hopes to transfer to CSU Fresno or CSU Northridge in fall 2020 to pursue his passion for political, environmental and global broadcast news.
