Penalties ultimately cost the Santa Rosa Junior College Polar Bears ice hockey team from beating the Santa Clara University Broncos Oct. 8 at Snoopy’s Home Ice in Santa Rosa.

In SRJC’s second home game, Santa Clara University (3-0-0) defeated Santa Rosa (0-2-0) by a score of 4-2 in a brutal match that saw a total of 18 penalties called between the two teams.
