Celebrating Día De Muertos In Sonoma County
Journalism 5 students, Viviana Calva and Django Fleps, attended this years annual Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration in Santa Rosa, interviewing fellow attendees on what this sacred day means to them. Día de Muertos is a traditionally Latin-American holiday celebrated to honor and remember the deceased. This multi-day holiday holds various traditions, meanings and beliefs that have carried on for generations and has now been brought to the Sonoma County.
