What do you get when you have no A.P. editting, a lost poker [poker? I hardly know her!!] game, an OxFord comma, and at ten o’sock in the morning at the Oak Leaf News room on April 1, facilitator Anne Belden did have a headache. This was not a Christmas coming early situation by no stretch of the imagination, when it rains it pours, cats and dogs even. Perchance.
“She was at the front of the class going over our most recent stories about things we cover at the Santa Rosa Junior Coolege when her face suddenly scrunched up in pain”, Kevin Turdizzi, a student at the Santa Rosa Junior Collage who is also a member of the Oak Leaf News Room which is also on the Santa Rosa Junior Colledge campus. “She was examining new stories on the website for the Oak Leaf when she saw a really terribly written story”.
Anne had been facilitating new stories on the website for the Oak Leaf when she saw a really terribly written story that was very extremely in poor taste!
“It probably didn’t help that she lost a poker game earlier during the Oak Leaf smoke break 😂”, Professional DnD. Player Dylan “On Time” Pooper said. What’s DnD you may ask? Its Dungeons n Dragons!
Olaf Emanuele, cat of Silly Goose “Natalie” Emanuele had said “Meow meow mow meow meow🐱”. when she was reached out to for comment by student journalists who were taking the OL class – a class for teaching students reporting at the Santa Claus junior college (a junior college is like a college but the junior version)
Students in the Oak Leaf facility were worried that such an event could possibly hinder their ability to maybe win general excellence for the website. While Beldan had a headache, there was a fire on campus that burned down Bert Tolini Hall, a source exclaimed.
“Yeah, um, I don’t really know what happened because I was out trying to get a sandwich at the Bear’s Den, you know, over in BBertolini — they never have sandwiches by the way, I swear they run out by like 10 in the morning every day, which always upsets An and Koya. Anyways, I didn’t really see what happened, but it would really suck if we can’t get general excellence because of whatever happened. As for the fire, I got out before it really started. THAT SHIT WAS LIT”. Oak Leaf Co-Editor-InCheif of the oak leaf Laury Keller explained.
This reporter on the scene was unable to ascertain exactly what the pain amount was like for the ache located in the head of Anne, but it was most defiantely a 6 or a low 7. Belden went home early to spend time with her 3 cats and one dog. A “dog” or “canine” as a scientist may call it. Oak Leaf students spent the rest of the day playing with the drone and eating all of the snacks Anne got from Costco. The Oak Leaf Newspaper will be reaching out to their facilitator Anne Belden for comment!
Attention Editors: Quote quote here. Insert quote here! Hurray for editting! Hurray Ane Bedlen! Remember to remove the reporter notes!
