Lauren Kelleher (she/her) is in her second semester of journalism at Santa Rosa Junior College. She has a background in photography and marketing, and an interest in breaking news and event coverage. Kelleher is working to earn a digital journalism degree in spring 2026, then transfer to a 4-year institution for journalism with a concentration in broadcast news in fall 2026.

SRJC offers fewer support courses in English and math for students trying to pass transfer-level courses, thanks to two new laws. Many of SRJC's English classes are taught in Emeritus Hall.
