Come check out all the fun events and activities at Day Under the Oaks Sunday May 7.

Come explore Santa Rosa Junior College’s many academic and cultural offerings at the Larry Bertolini Day Under the Oaks from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 7 at the Santa Rosa campus.

Day Under the Oaks is an opportunity for children to experience the fun side of higher education and for adults to learn about intriguing career paths.

The fair will expand all over campus with more than 200 booths offering food, demonstrations, shows, hands-on activities and more. Some of the events include: musical and dance performances, art and photography, a Planetarium star show and a demonstration by the SRJC Power Soccer Club, the Rolling Bears, plus much more.

“We will be doing demonstrations of [power soccer] to try to get new players added to our team,” said head coach of the Rolling Bears Ian Kinmont. “It is a good place to do it because a lot of people go to the event.

Day Under the Oaks is also an opportunity for students to register for SRJC, learn about classes, and meet and talk to faculty and counselors.

Come check out all the fun and entertaining events, and make sure you stop by the Oak Leaf booth to take our quick survey and get a free cupcake.
