The Bear Cubs 3-2 record has earned them a 3rd place in the Big 7 conference. Key players Heather Szmidt and Tasha Thiele making plays, Alessandra Laetsch and Melanie McCollum handling the ball. have helped to lead the team to a 13th place in the state. A win over American River on Oct. 19, 16-3, helped the Cubs gain momentum into the tough part of the season.
“There is plenty of experience this year. We have six returnees that have been in tough situations before, ” said Head Coach Jill McCormick.
