Campbell and McMillan earn Big 8 Conference honors

The SRJC Men’s and women’s basketball teams are a winning program from top to bottom.

Both teams head coaches, Lacey Campbell and Craig McMillan, have earned 2011-12 Big 8 Conference Coach of the Year honors.

For Campbell, this latest Coach of the Year honor marks the fourth consecutive season she has earned the award.  Campbell’s coaching staff consist of, Tosha Wilson, SRJC  alumnae Natalie Wisdom and Lisa Hirshfield. Campbell has guided the women’s team this season to an overall record of 22-6, a conference record of 13-1, a
No.5 seed and first round bye in the CCCAA Northern California Regional Playoffs.

McMillan has been named the 2011-2012 Big 8 Conference Coach of the Year. McMillan’s
coaching staff is comprised of SRJC alumni Maurice Thompson and Troy Stevenson. McMillan has commanded his team to an overall record of 24-5, a 13-1 conference record, a No. 3 seed and first round bye in the CCCAA Northern California
Regional Playoffs.
